Ongoing the current trend of adopting gamers who have been great in 2004, Tennessee Leaders mind coach Mike Munchak expressed some interest Tuesday in gimpy free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens. Actually, Munchak sounds completely positive about Owens soon putting on Leaders blue.

From 104.5 FM in Nashville, via John Glennon in the Tennessean:

"A great deal will depend for all of us how we're creating at this (wide receiver) position three days or two days from now, and just how we are doing (overall)," Munchak stated. "All individuals things will factor in it. But I am sure whenever there is a player which has his abilities, everyone's likely to know precisely where he's at. If he's a means of helping we win, then without a doubt you are likely to have a look at him."

About two days ago, Owens stated he'd prepare yourself in "per month or less." With that timetable, you'd think it had been time for teams to begin organizing workout routines for that mercurial star. Meanwhile, though, there is a TMZ report about Owens being rushed to some La hospital, but because the letters "TMZ" imply, nobody knows how true that's. Owens has not said.

Presuming he's all set to go, though, it's a little of the surprise to listen to that anyone's that interested. However the Leaders will have a necessity in the position. Matt Hasselbeck originates in and because of the Leaders a far more-than-respectable passing attack, but it is fallen off a little since star wide receiver Kenny Britt blew out his knee. With Britt shelved for that year, Damian Williams and Nate Washington now start at receiver for that Leaders.

Love him or hate him, it is a more interesting National football league when Terrell Owens is about. It appears such as the Leaders is going to be fighting for any playoff place, too, which may put Owens in the forefront within the National football league world. Popcorn.
